Lingerie Football Brawl: Philadelphia Passion And Toronto Triumph Fight (VIDEO)

Lingerie FootBrawl: Teams Trade Blows During Game

Famed football coach Vince Lombardi once said, "Football is like life -- it requires perseverance, self-denial, hard work, sacrifice, dedication and respect for authority."

Depending on the league, it occasionally also requires lingerie.

In the video above, members of the Toronto Triumph and Philadelphia Passion brawl during a Lingerie Football League (yes, this is a real thing) game on Friday night.

We're not sure what Lombardi would have to say regarding the attire or the sportsmanship, but he'd have a hard time arguing against the competitive nature of the teams. In fact, this is far from the first fight to break out during an LFL game since the league came into existence in 2009.

Perhaps the most surprising thing about the game wasn't that women were playing football in their underwear, but rather that Toronto was able to field a team at all. In October, 20 of the 26 players with Toronto's franchise left the team due to concerns over poor equipment and coaching.

King News 5 in Seattle reported that Mitchell Mortaza, the league's founder and CEO, is considering starting a youth league for young girls.
