Max Browne, USC Commit, Completes Bounce Pass That Results In 49-Yard Touchdown (VIDEO)

One of the nation's most highly touted quarterbacks sent his team to the state finals with an incredible pass that tallied zero yards.

Max Browne, Skyline High School (Wash.) quarterback and USC commit, completed a bounce pass lateral to a teammate that resulted in a touchdown in the team's 51-28 win over Camas in the Class WIAA Class 4A state semifinal on Saturday, the Seattle Times reports.

The three-part trick play started with Browne bouncing the football to wide receiver Matt Sinatro, who fired the ball downfield to Nic Sblendorio. The wideout then ran the ball into the endzone for a 49-yard touchdown.

Throughout the course of his high school career, Browne has earned the respect of most of the nation's top football programs, garnering offers from 12 powerhouse schools before committing to USC in April.

As the Orange County Register notes, both Rivals and Scout rank him as "top QB prospect in the country for the class of 2013." In addition, ESPN's scouting report praises his poise and composure, calling Browne "one of the more complete passers in this class."

Top-ranked Skyline will take on No. 3 Bellarmine Prep in the title game this Saturday at the Tacoma Dome.

This is at least the second bounce-pass assist we've seen this season. The play was reminiscent of a lateral that also resulted in a touchdown during a Florida high school football game back in October.
