Michelle Obama Channels Lil Jon With 'Turnip For What?' Vine

FLOTUS: 'Turnip For What?!'

First Lady Michelle Obama channeled rapper Lil Jon in her latest push to promote healthy eating, taking his hit "Turn Down For What" and putting a green spin on it.

In a Vine posted by the White House Tuesday night, the first lady asks, "turnip, for what?"

The Vine was a response to Vine user Alphacat, who -- while doing a pretty good impression of the first lady's husband, President Barack Obama -- asked how many calories Michelle Obama burned "every time you 'turn up'?"

These two aren't the only political figures to channel the Lil Jon song while sending a message. The rapper put a new twist on the song for the Rock the Vote campaign, recording a video for "Turnout For What," featuring other celebrities like Lena Dunham, Fred Armisen and Natasha Lyonne.
