The 25th anniversary national tour of "Les Miserables" is currently in Los Angeles, and while visiting the City of Angels, the cast took the time to create an online music video parody of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' hit "Empire State of Mind." The song, retitled as "Police State of Mind' features Andrew Varela and Chasten Harmon in their respective roles as Javert and Eponine singing lyrics altered to fit the plot of the musical. The video was shot in downtown Los Angeles near the Music Center.
