Robert 'Fantasma' Guerrero asegura que sorprenderá al mundo el 4 de mayo (ENTREVISTA)

Las 35 peleas previas que ha tenido Robert Guerrero como peleador profesional, han servido como entrenamiento para que en esta ocasión la presión que genera una encuentro contra el número uno de los libra por libra no se sienta.

"He trabajado toda mi vida para este momento. Con todo lo adverso que ha pasado, tanto afuera como adentro del ring, nada será demasiado grande como para no poder manejarlo. Para enfrentar a alguien como a Floyd tienes que ser mentalmente fuerte, pues es de esos tipos que tratan de meterse en tu cabeza. He lidiado con situaciones más intensas que eso. Floyd no podrá hacer nada para meterse bajo mi piel. Vengo a ganar esa pelea y punto", dijo a HuffPost Voces el próximo rival de Floyd Mayweather en la mega velada organizada el 4 de mayo en Las Vegas, Nevada.

Guerrero, en plena etapa fuerte de su preparación, aseguró que no ha cambiado mucho la forma de entrenar, pues hasta el momento el método ha traído resultados importantes.

"La forma en la que entreno ha funcionado y durante este campo de entrenamiento hemos analizado a Floyd y vemos fallas en su defensa, errores que capitalizaré. Junto a mi equipo hemos logrado una buena estrategia", abundó.

Guerrero, quien en el terreno profesional solamente tiene un descalabro, comentó que el hecho de no tener una derrota en más de ocho años genera una gran confianza en el trabajo realizado y en las cualidades que tiene sobre el ring.

"Se que muchos expertos no confían en lo que pueda hacer y pueden creer lo que quieran, mientras yo sepa que es lo que tengo que hacer. Se que para esta pelea me toca jugar el papel del peleador que sube como el no favorito, pero no importa no es la primera vez que pasa. El no ser favorito me llena de energía para entrenar duro y demostrar a los demás que están mal. El mundo se sorprenderá cuando me levanten la mano el 4 de mayo", dijo el 'Fantasma' Guerrero, quien subirá con la firme intención de coronarse campeón absoluto Welter del Consejo Mundial de Boxeo.
