If you want to see what "independent, fundamental, King James Bible Only Baptist preaching" is like, then look no further. That's how Steven Anderson of the Tempe, Ariz.-based Faithful Word Baptist Church describes his sermons, and his lecture "God Hates Divorce" is a perfect example.
He warns listeners that "not all people can handle this kind of preaching," and he's probably right. His views are summed up in the title of his clip, "Divorce + Remarriage = Adultery!"
Anderson declares in the sermon, "What I’m preaching today is what Jesus Christ taught 2000 years ago, and Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever, and I don’t care if our society embraces divorce, and even Christians are getting divorced at the same rate as the world, I'm not gonna change!"
Clearly he is not of the 'Who am I to judge?' tradition of Pope Francis.
