IndieReader, the essential consumer guide to self-published books and the people who write them, created the annual IR Discovery Awards (IRDAs) for one reason: to help readers discover the best indie books, reviewed by IR staff and vetted by some of the top people in publishing today.

The winners were announced by New York Times best selling indie author Hugh Howey (WOOL) on Saturday, June 1st at the Book Expo America (BEA), a trade event held once a year in New York City.
