Dozens of teenagers were detained Friday evening following a melee on the opening of the Arizona State Fair.
Police say that as many as 60 youths were involved in the brawl, AZ Family reports.
"It started with two," Arizona Department of Public Safety Capt. Deston Coleman told KPHO. "When officers went in to detain subjects fighting and clear them from area, the crowd then turned on the officers and began fighting them."
Two adults were also arrested, according to ABC15.
Authorities said that the teens involved are from the same neighborhood. It was unclear what exactly sparked the fight.
