When you think of the Super Bowl, you think of that all-American sport, half time shows, expensive commercials, and chips and beer. But what about all that goes into making (and reporting on) this epic event?

What about the images that capture the madness of the day, the iconic plays that grace the cover of Sports Illustrated? Every year, the Super Bowl has a myriad of well-chosen photographers whose work represents the event once the game is over; most of these guys are veteran photographers- having worked for 20-some Super Bowls- who process more than 11,000 images per hour.
