If you've had one of those weeks in which your appearance and weight were on your mind more than you'd like, a photo we found on Reddit Friday may help. User bulletr0k submitted it with the title, "On the scale at the Gym I just stated [sic] going to.."

The quote is from Steve Maraboli's book "Life, the Truth, and Being Free" and reads:

[This] scale can only give you a numerical reflection of your relationship with gravity. That’s it. It cannot measure beauty, talent, purpose, life force, possibility, strength, or love.

If only we could imprint this on our brains for all of those times when the scale seems to measure so much more than weight.
