Sometimes when you want to speak out against The Man, you have to start at the bottom.

Hundreds of demonstrators gathered Sunday to moon Trump International Hotel and Tower in Chicago to protest President Donald Trump and his refusal to divulge his tax returns.

The event had its own hashtag #RumpageAgainstTrump and wiseass slogan, “Kiss our asses, release your taxes.” As planned, activists dropped trou and bared their butts, many of them decorated with messages demanding Trump release his taxes (sometimes in direct and vulgar terms). Photos from the scene, below, show the full moons, as it were.

Anti-Trump mooners made their message clear

“I feel like the best way to get to him is just petty stuff like this,” one writer for the prank organizers, the news program “S#!tshow,” told Patch. “Like this is the best that he deserves, to look at my butt.”

At least the weather cooperated. Temperatures hit an unseasonably high 49 in Chicago on Sunday.

Here’s video of the protest. Need immediate maximum exposure? Cut to the 1:45 mark.
