What's worse than a good shot going off the post?

Just ask Emanuele Giaccherini, who missed on a rebound attempt with a wide open net in Saturday's match between Cesena and Juventus.

Trailing 1-0 to Juventus, Cesena's Giaccherini received a great pass and tried to tie the game with a shot that went by goalkeeper Gigi Buffon. Even though he missed, the ball went off the post and bounced right back to him with a wife open net.

However, Giaccherini kicked it over the crossbar and out of bounds and couldn't bare to lift his head up to look at the fans.

Fortunately for Giaccherini, Cesena went on to come back and the match ended with a 2-2 draw.

"It seemed impossible to miss, but he managed it!" Cesena manager Massimo Ficcadenti said after the game. "We were 1-0 down, it probably would've been a different game."
