Gary Forbes, Denver Nuggets Forward, Scores 78 In Pro-Am Game (VIDEO)

NBA Backup Forward Puts On Absurd Performance In Pro-Am Game
|

During a Pro-Am game in Hartford, Conn., Denver Nuggets backup forward Gary Forbes poured in an astounding 78 points.

The performance was only 73 more than he averaged last season with the Nuggets.

Most impressively, Forbes knocked down 13 3-pointers in the contest, which is no small feat regardless of the level of competition.

According to SLAM.com, Forbes' squad, the exquisitely named Sparks Autobody Naughty Boys defeated the Springfield Slam, which was led by UConn standout Jeremy Lamb, 136-132.

While Forbes' play was impressive, we aren't sure if he'll be able to carry the impressive performance over to the NBA, where he'll encounter much better players, as well as...you know...defense.
