LeBron James Flopped So Hard That 'LMAO LeBron' Started Trending

That's a long way for such a strong man to fall.
|

With the second quarter winding down during Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Saturday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers' Tristan Thompson and the Toronto Raptors' Bismack Biyombo started to scuffle mid-court.

Naturally, LeBron James walked over to make sure things didn't get out of hand. Less naturally, however, he soon found himself dramatically falling to the ground in what was one of the better acting jobs of the year.

In live time, it appeared that Thompson accidentally smacked James in the face, causing all 250 lbs. of the four-time NBA MVP to move approximately 15-20 ft., so far that he literally fell out of the screen.

But slow the video down and take a look from another angle, and it's questionable at best whether one of the strongest men in the world would naturally fall over in such dramatic fashion as a result of his teammate lightly brushing a forearm against his lips. Extremely questionable.

Let's look a little closer now.

And how about another angle?

Now, you could argue that at 6-foot-9 and 238 lbs., Thompson might be one of the few men in the world who could smack a LeBron James so lightly and nevertheless cause him to crumble to the ground. You could argue that. But, like, c'mon man, no. We're talking about the same guy who did this to poor Kyle Lowry at another point in the night.

This was a flop by one of the best to ever flop, plain and simple. Sure, LeBron is one of the best to ever play the game of basketball, but when you flop, you deserve to be chastised. That's just life. Naturally, the Internet did its thing, as it is wont to do, and shortly thereafter, "Lmao Lebron" started to trend on the Twitter.

Of course, it was Cory Joseph and Tristan Thompson who were issued technicals after the skirmish, while LeBron James got off scot-free.

So who's really LMAO-ing?
