For the past few years, Staten Island's P.S. 22 Elementary School Choir has been receiving a lot of attention for their performances of pop songs- from Lady Gaga's "Just Dance" to songs by Coldplay and Sam Cooke. Their performances are moving, impressive, and have gained the attention not only of these world renowned artists- who have sung with these 5th graders- but also of the Academy Awards producers, where they will perform this year.
