Trevor Plouffe Catch: Twins 3B Flips Over Railing During Game Against Royals (VIDEO)

WATCH: Twins Player Makes Amazing Catch

Despite being 12 games under .500 going into their game on Monday night, Minnesota Twins third baseman Trevor Plouffe had no problem risking his body to make a great defensive play against Kansas City.

Royals outfielder Alex Gordon hit a pop fly into foul territory in the bottom of the fourth inning. Plouffe tracked it down, caught the ball and then flipped right over the railing head over heels . Somehow, he managed to hold onto the ball.

Unfortunately, the catch did little to help the Twins, who lost 13-0.
