The superstar athletes otherwise known as the U.S. Women’s National Team are officially world champions after winning the 2015 Women’s World Cup final against Japan on Sunday. The team, which won 5-2, played with poise and passion, and their performance is perhaps best described as just plain badass. Let’s take a moment to appreciate these women for what they are: world-class athletes of the highest order.
