When we had to pick our high school class rings, the options were pretty much limited to gold-plated or silver-plated. But future generations of grads will have a much swankier option: chi-chi Japanese fashion label Commes Des Garcons has released a line of champion rings that could work perfectly for new grads, or anyone who wants to feel like a winner in the School of Life.
The rings, which we first spied on The Fader, were designed by the brand's designer Rei Kawakubo, who said last year that she shops only at airports (maybe she was sitting next to a Super Bowl winner on the plane when she hatched the idea?). They feature empowering slogans like "My Energy Comes From Freedom" and "Live Free, Strong Will," which will make you feel ready for the boxing ring as well as the dorm room.
No word on price yet, but the rings come in two sizes for men and women and will be available at the brand's New York store, for those who want a piece of sweet victory.
