Gov. Jerry Brown Will 'Spare No Effort' In Bringing San Bernardino Killers To Justice

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims’ families and everyone affected by the brutal attack."

California Gov. Jerry Brown said that the state would devote full resources to punishing the shooters who killed at least 14 people and injured 17 others at a San Bernardino social services center on Wednesday.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims’ families and everyone affected by the brutal attack," Brown said in a statement emailed to reporters. "California will spare no effort in bringing these killers to justice.”

The governor said that out of respect for those affected by the mayhem, a Christmas tree lighting ceremony scheduled at the state capitol Wednesday evening would be canceled and all capitol flags would be lowered to half-staff.
