Tiger Woods will resume a U.S. Open first round that has been disappointing so far – and possibly injurious – when the horn sounds at 7:15 a.m. Friday at Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pa.
Woods left for the day at 2 over par, six shots back of leader Luke Donald, when darkness brought an end to play Thursday. Woods will face a 4-footer for par at No. 11 when he returns.
