As the Paula Deen saga continues to unfold , many notable figures are sharing their thoughts on the controversy surrounding the Queen of Southern Cuisine.
During Friday’s airing of “The Tonight Show,” comedian Wanda Sykes offered her two cents on Deen’s various public appearances in an attempt to apologize for her highly publicized racism scandal.
“She should’ve had a friend to just tell her, ‘you need to just shut the hell up right now,’” Sykes said to host Jay Leno. “Just sit down and shut up. She’s out here blabbing on the TV. I thought on the ‘TODAY Show’ she should’ve ran out and just tongue kissed Al Roker…gave him a lap dance and said, ‘I got no problems with yall!’”
