It's rare to see the fans of a losing team go nuts after a buzzer beater, but that is exactly what happened in Salem, Ore.

Alex Roth only scored six points in West Salem High School's 56-54 loss to North Salem on Saturday, but everyone in attendance will remember the final basket. The West Salem sophomore slammed in a put-back dunk at the buzzer, shattering the backboard in the process.

As the glass fell, the West Salem fans jumped out of their seats and celebrated the play despite the loss. North Salem went on to win the Central Valley Conference title. Scroll down to watch the video.
