Caroline Wozniacki and Rory McIlroy certainly knew how to ring in 2014. The sports power couple took a breaking from New Year's revelry in Australia to announce their engagement on Twitter.

McIlroy, the No. 6 ranked golfer in the world at the start of 2014, and Wozniacki, currently at No. 10 in the WTA standings, began dating in 2011. The announcement of their engagement comes just months after reports that they had split.
