Most dads took their daughters to the movies. My Dad took me to nightclubs. Look at the smile on my face - how happy am I!

Little sister Terre and I watching home movies with Mom and Dad. Remember the days when kids would be dressed in the same clothes as their parents - like mother, like daughter? It would be a lot harder to get kids - or moms - to do that today!

Does this say 1960s, or what? Here we are, just the five of us at home: Tony, Terre, Mom, and me, all behind Dad.

Introducing my Dad to Knichi - my folks may have been hoping for the pitter-patter of little feet, but not these feet!

A family affair: We wrote this episode of "That Girl" for Terre to show off her singing talent. She played a singing nun, Dad played a priest, and Tony played her brother, a drummer. It was so much fun for all of us to work together - just hilarious!

This photo appeared in the December 1976 issue of "Good Housekeeping" magazine, with the article "Christmas With the Danny Thomases." It was the first time we were photographed like this since we used to pose for our Christmas cards as kids!

Our family gathered around Dad at his surprise 70th birthday party at Hillcrest Country Club. Notice how my father is right down there with the kids - he loved children so much, and they adored him right back!

Thanksgiving 1987: Mom and Dad flew in to be with Phil and me in Connecticut that year, and it was such a treat.

This is one of my favorite photos of all time, of my two favorite guys - Phil and Dad, with their matching cigars, on Thanksgiving Day 1987.

Christmas 1990. We Thomases commemorate all our family events with sweatshirts, T-shirts, or even, in this case, Christmas bathrobes! We didn't realize at the time just what a special Christmas Day this would be - it was our last Christmas together. Dad was gone six weeks later.

Phil and his four sons. How cute are these guys? Especially the big one!
