Actress Morgan Fairchild got her start as a body double for Faye Dunaway in "Bonnie and Clyde," but it didn't take long for her to emerge with her own distinct look. Born Patsy Ann McClenny in Texas, Fairchild's career blossomed after recurring roles on TV shows like "Dallas," "Mork & Mindy," "Paper Dolls" and "Roseanne." She was also nominated for an Emmy for a guest spot on "Murphy Brown" in 1989.
The daytime drama queen was known for her platinum blonde beauty, and many a man lusted after her curvaceous figure. As Fairchild cemented her star status through the '90s, she became a spokesmodel for Old Navy and played Chandler's mom on "Friends." Nowadays, she's a champion of important causes, like AIDS research, women's rights and environmental protection.
Fairchild has always been a fan of bold textures and trends. As she writes on her official fan site, “I try hard to look hip, but ladylike; current, but not like I’m trying to be 16.” We think she succeeds in this regard. Watching her style evolve as she ages, it's clear the sex symbol does not shy away from making a statement with her clothes. Instead, she piles on accessories and experiments with every color of the rainbow, including purple pantsuits.
