Ozzie Guillen Quits Twitter: Marlins Manager Done With Social Media

Ozzie Quits Twitter

Ozzie Guillen often speaks his mind. Sometimes it gets him into trouble, but the Marlins manager rarely shies away from voicing his opinions. But as of Thursday May 17, 2012 at 3:25 p.m. ET, Guillen will no longer share his thoughts on Twitter.

Guillen shared his last tweet with his 230,927 Twitter and told reporters on Thursday that he hates the social media site.

"I hate Twitter," he said. "People out there are nasty, nasty. I don't need that. I don't need the aggravation. So many nasty people. They don't have nothing better to do. I'm not Kim Kardashian. I don't sell anything in my life to have Twitter."

Guillen had a good Twitter run. Whether he was praising Cake Boss or sharing his thoughts on the game, following @OzzieGuillen was always entertaining. Here are some of Guillen's funniest and oddest moments on Twitter.
