The Pollsters Say McCain vs. Obama is a Dead Heat. The Oddsmakers Don't Think So

Despite a recent poll that has the race at a dead heat, sports oddsmaker Danny Sheridan sees Obama as a 2-1 favorite. Between the oddsmakers and the pollsters I'll take the former every time.

I asked Danny Sheridan, America's leading sports analyst and handicapper for his latest odds on the presidential race. (The sports guys know politics too!) Although the latest Washington Post/ABC News poll has it as a dead heat, Danny sees Obama as a 2-1 favorite. Between the oddsmakers and the pollsters I'll take the former EVERY time.
