US President George W. Bush ended his Latin American tour Wednesday as it began, marred by violent protests after demonstrators rioted outside the US embassy here.

A group of masked protesters threw bottles, rocks and paint at the police guarding a peaceful march, leaving more than 20, including 11 officers, injured.
