Team Captain for the U.S. women’s gymnastics team and superhuman superstar, Aly Raisman, snagged the silver medal for the individual all-around competition in Rio.

When she got back to her room in the Olympic Village, she had the sweetest surprise waiting for her: 

Teammates Madison Kocian and Laurie Hernandez wrote Aly the nicest thank you note, saying they “couldn’t be any happier” for their team captain and her amazing accomplishment. They also noted that “we’ve looked up to you from the beginning of our elite careers and you’ve inspired us in so many ways.”
