I am in love with rose perfumes...at least a few anyway. Except for the actual flower, and only in white, I have never been the biggest fan of rose anything, especially perfumes. The cloy scent reminds me of the 1977 version of Tea Rose or cheap air freshener.
It wasn't until I discovered Velvet Rose & Oud by Jo Malone that rose perfumes opened up my sensory world...and what a world there was to discover. These five rose scents have completely opened my mind, and have rocked my perfume world (and collection). My current obsession is Milieu Rosa by Odin, a beautiful floral composition blended with spicy rose scents; one word--amazing.
