Jeremy Shockey sure sounds like he's making the most of his offseason. As HuffPost blogger Shaneika Dabney has pointed out, the Saints tight end is seeking a little online companionship.
Shockey posted a Facebook note (and linked to it on Twitter) soliciting videos from female fans explaining why they "deserve" to date the Super Bowl champion:
Ok LADIES heres the contest.. Post a video on the "just fans" section of my fbk fan page explaining why u deserve to have me take u on a date 1 nite this offseason... Contest ends sun night 4/18 at 8pm est... Lets have fun w this so be creative but just be careful its not too inappropriate where fbk deletes it!! good luck!!!
The Facebook entry has gotten 322 replies so far. One Twitter follower wrote, "Dont think folks like that idea!!!" Shockey appeared unfazed, however, responding: "cant please everyone." The four-time Pro Bowler adds that it will "be a fun contest."
