Unreal Hit Sends Helmet Flying Into The Night

Football can be brutal, especially for a receiver left exposed after catching a screen pass.

Watch above as Jocquez "Joc" Bruce, of South-Doyle High School in Knoxville, Tennessee, hits a receiver from Hardin Valley Academy so hard that the receiver's helmet launches into the night.

The YouTube clip is aptly titled "JOC BRUCE THE HIT!!!" and is attracting views by the hundreds of thousands, in part because Bruce is a star who has committed to the University of Tennessee.

The footage, uploaded to YouTube Sept. 12, appears to show the receiver holding on to the ball and getting back up. Hardin Valley Principal Sallee Reynolds told The Huffington Post Wednesday that the player was "fine" after the hit.
