Miami Heat star LeBron James told Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel that he wants to play for Team USA in the 2012 Olympics.

"I would love to be a part of that team," James reportedly said. "I think it's an unbelievable thing to represent your country, and if Coach K needs me to be a part of that team and I'm available, hopefully I'm healthy enough to be part of that team."

Earlier this week, Kobe Bryant committed to playing in the 2012 Olympics.

Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard also wants to play in the London Olympics, according to ProBasketballTalk.
