When I think of top models of the 1990s, Niki Taylor is right up there on the altar of amazing women with Linda Evangelista, Kate Moss, Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford. At the tender age of 13, she signed with a local Florida talent agency, landed her first magazine cover, Seventeen, just one year later and posed for the cover of Vogue at 15. The teenager with the megawatt smile went on to become a millionaire and president of her own company, Niki, Inc. However, at the height of her success she faced enormous tragedy with the death of her younger sister and fellow model, Krissy.

“I will never get over that," she told People of Krissy, who died suddenly in 1995 at age 17 of arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia. "That is probably the worst thing that happened in my life, losing my sister and my best friend.”

After enduring such a great loss, Taylor was critically injured in a car accident in 2001 that forced her to undergo over 50 operations. But her resilience allowed her to mother two children (already having twins), open a clothing boutique and launch her first fragrance.

As Taylor celebrates her 37th birthday on Monday (March 5th), we're taking a look back at the supermodel's beauty over the years. Which of her looks do you like best? Vote in the slideshow below and check out some of Taylor's best cover girl moments.
