Ron Charles On Female Authors

WATCH: WaPo Editor On Treatment Of Female Authors

Ron Charles, Fiction Editor of The Washington Post, has a wonderful YouTube video series called Totally Hip Book Reviews (he claims it's satire, but we know that's the real you, Ron.)

In the latest episode, he addresses the question of how female authors are badly treated by the literary establishment, a topic that is deservedly getting increasing levels of coverage. Also look out for a big-name literary cameo, and spot the amusing "Annie Hall" reference.

Does he have a point? Let us know what you think in the comments!
