Well, that didn't take long. According to CNBC's Darren Rovell, Shaquille O'Neal has landed a new gig, agreeing to join Turner Broadcasting.
Rovell tweeted the news on Saturday, citing unnamed sources.
This would potentially put the future Hall of Famer, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and host Ernie Johnson in the same studio for the TNT NBA pregame show.
Michael McCarthy of USA Today reported on Sunday that TNT spokesman Jeff Pomeroy said the network has "nothing in place at this time."
Shaq announced his retirement from the NBA on Twitter at the beginning of June and held a press conference a few days later.
