Diet Coke's 'Slender Vender': Skinny Vending Machine Reinforces The Message That Thinner Is Better (VIDEO)

WATCH: Does This Diet Coke Ad Fat-Shame Viewers?

Thanks Diet Coke, for reminding us all that it's always better to be thin -- even if you're a vending machine.

The brand has launched an (utterly misguided) ad campaign around the "Slender Vender," a new, skinny, Diet Coke-only vending machine. "Diet Coke is famously fit and elegant," reads the commercial's copy. "But how could we show this in an unexpected way?" Evidently by having a bunch of dudes get together -- every person in the ad who is "building" the Slender Vender is male -- to create the "thinnest vending machine in the world."

So even vending machines need to slim down now? What are we going to put on a diet next?
