Football Star Commits To Notre Dame In Epic 'Dark Knight' Video

Looks like the Fighting Irish will have a reason to celebrate.

Daelin Hayes, a highly prized linebacker from Skyline High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, has committed to Notre Dame

According to the Detroit Free Press, Hayes made his decision partly for the college's rigorous academics. "Once I officially took football out of the equation, it seemed like a no-brainer. I believe to make a decision based purely off of athletics is kind is foolish. Why not maximize every opportunity on and off the field that college presents?" he said.

If his game is as good as the hype stirred in his so-called "Dark Knight" announcement video posted Thursday on Bleacher Report, the Fighting Irish and their fans have a reason to celebrate.
