Comedian George Lopez's 7th annual Celebrity Golf Classic presented by Sabra Salsa was held at Lakeside Golf Club on Monday May 5th. The sunny weather brought out the likes of Don Cheadle, Samuel L. Jackson, Andy Garcia, Joe Mantegna, Alan Thicke, Jesse Metcalfe, Omarosa Marigault and more.
When they weren't playing on the green, celebs had a chance to visit the GBK-produced gift lounge in support of The Lopez Foundation, which helps underprivileged children, adults and military families. It also raises awareness about kidney disease and organ donation.
The low-key lounge included lots of items including apparel, fitness, skincare and gourmet edibles.
Men's retailer Alandales gifted golf shirts and gift certificates to its in-store hair salon, among other items. Luxury dress shirt company Made-of-Stone showcased dress shirts adorned with precious and semiprecious stones such as sapphires and rubies. Guests received gift certificates for amethyst cuff links. On the casual side, Margaritaville Apparel handed out beach bags filled with their goodies including polo shirts, t-shirts and baseball caps.
David Barton Gym handed out 6 month memberships while Burke Williams Spa gave out skincare products and spa passes. Nicaragua's Mukul Beach, Golf & Spa gave out trips to their Emerald Coast resort, along with a bottle of Flor de Cana rum.
Food items included coconut peanut butter from Hawaii's North Shore Goodies, Stafford's Famous Chocolates (try the red wine truffles), macaroon and cake pops by Le Pop Shop and high-protein, Vitamin D rich coffee creamer from Ripped Cream.
Accessories included limited edition watches from Curtis & Co. designs, no-show anti-slip socks and half socks by MOCSOCS and electronic smoking products by Tryst.
Milena's Candles gave out candles with such exotic scents as Patchouli/Valencia Orange. No doubt celebs will place them next to their very own hand-made wooden benches and chairs by GloDea. The company, conceptualized by Brazilian designer Ignacio Santos, was sending each celeb its portable lounge chair, Chair X36, made from eco friendly yellow pine wood.
