Republican Rep. Greg Walden won Tuesday's election to represent Oregon's 2nd Congressional District.

Walden, whose district encompasses a major portion of Eastern Oregon, was first elected to the House in 1998. Prior to that, he served in both the Oregon state House and Senate.

He faced a challenge from Democrat businesswoman Aelea Christofferson.
