John McCain, Serial Character Assassin

McCain's unjustified personal attack on Barack Obama isn't the first time he's shown the need for anger-management training. When an airman told the Senate about McCain's friend John Tower's dangerous drinking habits, McCain got the man's military psychiatric files and read them into the Congressional Record.

Isn't it strange how reporters seem constitutionally incapable of distinguishing a good source from a good human being?

And Joe Lieberman seems to be showing a very strong profile in cowardice on this one. If Obama did the wrong thing, Lieberman should say so. If he didn't, Lieberman should defend him. Neutrality as between the aggressor and the victim isn't an option for any decent person.
