RNC Gets Roasted Over 'Tone Deaf' Black History Month Tweet

The Republican National Committee faced an online backlash Friday after it marked the start of Black History Month with a quote from its chair, Ronna McDaniel.

Some Twitter users called the post “tone deaf,” while others noted President Donald Trump’s history of racist behavior. Black History Month tweets from Trump and first lady Melania Trump were met with similar scorn.
