Tiny Homes: Hong Kong Residents Rent Small Apartments For A Big Price (VIDEO)

We're so intrigued by the idea of living small and talking to people who choose this lifestyle to live more simply, sustainably or more affordably. But when we saw this video from Reuters depicting underprivileged residents being forced to rent "bed homes," or tiny homes in Hong Kong industrial areas because of high real estate prices, we were shocked.

These often illegal flats are hardly fit for people to live in and have only basic amenities, but because the rent is more affordable than most of Hong Kong, which happens to be one of the most expensive places to live in the world, over 100,000 people reside in them.
