Sacramento Kings guard Tyreke Evans was clocked driving at speeds greater than 100 miles per hour on Monday night, according to ESPN. The reigning NBA Rookie of the Year, who won the award in April, was "briefly detained" and officers placed him in handcuffs because they could not see through his tinted windows.
According to the Sacramento Bee, the 20-year-old was cited for reckless driving. In a tweet, Evans called the incident "bad decision making" and apologized for the "mistake." Scroll down to see his full message to fans.
