Basketball Marriage Proposal: Woman Misses Half-Court Shot, Then Gets A Proposal (VIDEO)

WATCH: Woman Has Amazingly Funny Reaction To Proposal

One basketball fan's marriage proposal at an Orlando Magic-Miami Heat game was definitely a slam-dunk.

During halftime of Monday night's game, a woman named Elena attempted to win $1,000 by making a half-court shot. She missed the shot (by a lot), but then an announcer revealed the real reason she was on the court -- her boyfriend was kneeling behind her with a ring.

Watch the video above to see the entire proposal.

Basketball games are popular spots for proposals -- earlier this month, another man proposed during an Orlando Magic game. And in 2012, a Davenport University basketball coach donned the school's mascot uniform and had a dance-off with the dance team coach, then proposed to her.
