We may never know when the president first got a hunch that the occupation of Iraq was not working out so well, but we know exactly when things did start to go haywire: As the latest installment of "Lie By Lie," the Mother Jones Iraq War timeline, shows, all the major problems were brutally obvious within the first 100 days. For example, if you're wondering why Iraqi police can't put down the sectarian violence raging in Bagdad, it's worth remembering that in May 2003, when the Justice Department asked that 6,600 police advisers be sent to Iraq, the White House sent just one: former NYC police commissioner Bernie Kerik, who prepared for his job by watching A&E documentaries on Saddam Hussein.
