The actress Yeardley Smith is more commonly associated with her work as the voice of Lisa Simpson in the long-running hit series The Simpsons. She's been lending that nasal and quirky voice to the character for over 20 years. Last fall Smith launched a shoe collection called Marchez Vous, which she says marries comfort with beauty. She designs and picks out all the colors and materials for her shoe collection and even visits the factories in Italy where they are manufactured. The result are shoes that are relatable and woman-friendly -- shoes that you can actually walk in.

When I wake up... I smile.
Before I go to bed... I write a list of five things I'm grateful for.
A well-dressed man/woman... makes me smile all day long.
Women should always... use their powers for good.
Men should never... wear too much cologne.
The best thing that's been said about me... A blogger recently wrote that when she's trying to figure out how to tackle a seemingly impossible task, she asks herself, "What would Yeardley Smith do?"
The biggest misconception about me... is that I play the saxophone.
If I weren't doing what I'm doing today... I'd be a professional ballroom dancer who sings country songs.
My legacy... is to share the abundance of my successes with as many people as possible.
A great idea... is just the beginning of the miracle.
Botox is... no big deal. Who cares? My mother... is elegant.
