The four hardest words to say to your spouse are undoubtably, "I want a divorce."

That's why Mary Jo Fay, a relationship coach, made sure she was out of the house when her soon-to-be ex got the life-changing news.

"I was in such a state of depression not knowing what was coming in my future that it made [the divorce decision] all the more difficult, so I took the cheaters way out," she told host Nancy Redd on HuffPost Live Monday. "I should tell you that we had four years of psychotherapy trying to save the marriage before I did this, so it wasn't like a big surprise, but I went out and had breakfast with girlfriends and had my husband served at home."
