As a child, I'd spend hours in my room playing dress-up. However, the lace skirts, Mary Jane shoes and faux fur coats I'd twirl around in pale in comparison to the sophisticated dresses Elle Fanning sports on the red carpet. The young actress is on a first name basis with the women behind Rodarte and has posed for Marc by Marc Jacobs, so I can't help being just a little jealous of her fashion rolodex.
Because big sis Dakota stepped into the spotlight first, you'd imagine that's where Elle takes her style cues. Yet, it's the complete opposite. "She's the go-to fashion person in the family," Dakota told Teen Vogue. "Elle knows every single model, every single collection, every single piece from every single collection. She has a real passion, and it's not at all in a materialistic way. She genuinely appreciates the workmanship and creativity."
