Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama's Outdated Outfits Responsible For Low Approval Rating? (PHOTOS, POLL)

CNN reports that Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama's approval ratings are suffering...and his wardrobe choices explain why. According to critic Don Konishi, Hatoyama's "ideas and philosophy are old. Japan is facing a crisis and we can't overcome it with a prime minister like this." But are Hatoyama's ideas and philosophy as old as what's hanging in his closet?

Maybe. A colorful plaid shirt from the 1980s or '90s is being pointed to as one of Hatoyama's worst fashion decisions. However, Konishi calls Hatoyama's biggest faux-pas his "hearts and pink blazer outfit," which we managed to unearth with the help of Google translate and a prayer.

Check out Hatoyama's most outdated outfits and let us know which is the worst.
